John Gabriel Perboyre, CM (French: Jean-Gabriel Perboyre; 1802–1840) was a French priest of the Congregation of the Mission, who served as a missionary in China, where he suffered martyrdom.
He was canonized in 1996 by Pope John Paul II.[1]
